We operate a marketplace app connecting customers with local businesses to purchase discounted surplus food. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
What we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone (optional), role (customer/business/rider/creator).
- Auth identifiers: Firebase UID, tokens, and login provider (email/Google).
- Location: approximate device location and pickup/delivery addresses you select. We do not collect background location.
- Order & payment data: items, prices, discounts, timestamps. Card data is handled by our payment partners; we do not store full card numbers.
- Device & app analytics: app version, device model, usage events, crash logs.
- Communications: in-app messages, reviews, attachments you send.
- Push tokens: for notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
- Cookies (website): used for session management, basic analytics, and preference storage.
How we use data
- Provide and improve the app, process orders, show nearby offers, and prevent fraud/abuse.
- Send transactional notifications (order updates, reminders). You can manage notifications in your OS settings.
- Support, troubleshooting, and safety; comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
We share data only as needed with: (a) participating businesses (to fulfill your order), (b) cloud providers (Firebase/Google Cloud, hosting, storage, analytics, crash reporting, messaging), (c) payment processors, and (d) service providers under contract. We may disclose as required by law or to protect rights and safety.
International transfers
Your data may be processed in data centers outside your country (e.g., EU or US) by our cloud providers with appropriate safeguards.
Retention
We keep data while your account is active and as long as necessary for operations, accounting, and legal requirements. You may request deletion; certain records (e.g., invoices) may be retained as required.
Your rights
- Access, correct, or delete your data via in-app support or the email below.
- Withdraw consent where applicable (e.g., marketing). Transactional communications may still be sent.
- Disable precise location sharing; the app will still function but features may be limited.
Children
Our app is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us to remove it.
Security
We use industry practices (encryption in transit, access controls). No method is 100% secure.

Changes
